RFID technology in the field of clothing applications

The clothing field has unique advantages in the use of RFID technology because of its characteristics of multi-accessory labels. Therefore, the clothing field is  also a more widely used and mature field of RFID technology, which plays an important role in clothing production, warehousing and logistics, and retail.

In the clothing production link, whether it is raw material management, production process monitoring or product quality traceability, it all shows the importance of RFID innovative application.

In raw material management, from the procurement stage of raw materials, each batch of raw materials is equipped with an RFID tag, which clearly records its supplier,batch, material, color and other details. When warehousing, the label is quickly read through the RFID reader to achieve automatic warehousing registration and classified storage of raw materials, so that in the production process, the use of raw materials can be tracked in real time, to ensure the accuracy of ingredients, to avoid the occurrence of material loss and information errors.

In the production process monitoring, the RFID reader is installed on each station on the production line, when the clothing parts equipped with RFID tags pass through the station of each link, the reader automatically reads and records the production progress, process parameters and other information, which helps to find the bottleneck in the production in time, adjust the production plan, and improve production efficiency.

In terms of quality traceability, the label of each garment records the accurate data of the whole process of the product from raw material procurement to production and processing. Once a product has a quality problem, it can quickly trace the problem link by reading the whole-process supervision information of the label, such as tracing back to a specific batch of raw materials, a production station or operator, so that targeted improvement measures can be taken to reduce quality risks.
