On January 6, 2017, the inaugural ceremony of the IC card interconnection and interoperability of the central city of Baoshan was held at the North Bus Station.

The “Interconnection” IC card project in Baoshan’s central city is the overall deployment of Baoshan City in accordance with the national and provincial transportation “all-in-one card” construction. It relies on information infrastructure and uses IC cards as the carrier to integrate finance, public transportation, and public utilities. Service, a key information-based people’s livelihood project implemented with concentrated efforts. The project began to be implemented in September 2016, with an initial investment of 1.2 million yuan to build the first phase of the transportation “all-in-one card” project to meet the needs of the travel card consumption in the central city of Baoshan. The construction was completed and officially put into operation in December 2016. The “all-in-one card” system for Baoshan’s central city traffic currently under construction will temporarily serve the public transportation of Baoshan’s central city and be distributed to the general public.
